Jenny’s music takes heavy cues from blues, gospel, and traditional country. Though a classical pianist and vocalist for most of her career, she picked up the guitar to channel her influences. Now the vocalist and guitarist of Neighborly, she has finally found her home in music.
Something of a music historian, Mark has been tracing the roots, shoots, branches, streams and tributaries of (mostly southern) American music since his college days when he discovered Sonny Terry and got himself a harpoon. From those early days learning to play one-handed while driving a delivery van, his musical palette now encompasses blues, r&b, country, rock, folk and more.
